In Defense of Citrus: the Sour Truth About Denouncing the Yuri Anime Of the Season
I wasn’t planning on doing this because god knows I’m tired of doing this every time a new yuri thing comes out, but Citrus, which I had been following literally since the first chapter, is particularly near and dear to my heart. Because of that, seeing so many people call it abusive, horrible, and otherwise criticize it unfairly has been especially distressing for me. You all can have whatever opinion you like about the series, but personally, having invested in it as well as the yuri genre as a whole for so long, my conscience won’t rest until I do my best to alter the misconceptions people have or at least give a different perspective.
